The working principle of the resistive touch screen is mainly to realize the operation and control of the screen content through the principle of pressure induction. The body part of the touch screen is a multilayer composite film which is very compatible with the surface of the display. The first layer is glass or plexiglass bottom layer, the second layer is the separation layer, the third layer is the multi-resin surface layer, and the surface is coated with a transparent conductive layer. It is then covered with a smooth, scratch-resistant plastic layer with a hardened surface.
The conductive layer and the glass layer sensor on the surface of the polylipid surface are separated by many tiny layers. When the current passes through the surface layer, it touches the bottom layer when it touches the surface layer to press down. The controller simultaneously reads the corresponding current from the four angles and calculates the distance of the finger position. The touch screen consists of two layers of transparent, conductive layers, separated by a mere 2.5 microns. When fingers touch the screen, the two electrically conductive layers, which are normally insulated with each other, have A contact at the touch point. Because one of the conductive layers is connected to the 5V uniform voltage field in the Y-axis direction, the voltage of the detection layer changes from zero to non-zero. After the controller detects the connection, it performs A/D conversion and compares the obtained voltage value with 5V to obtain the Y-axis coordinate of the touch point. By the same token, X axis coordinates are obtained, which is the most basic principle common to all resistive touch screens.
